From humble beginnings witnessing Granny's salon visits, Trey's passion for hairstyling was ignited, propelling him to the forefront of the industry. With a trailblazing journey that includes showcasing his talent at renowned fashion weeks in New York and Paris, Trey has mastered cutting-edge techniques and emerged as a visionary in the hairstyling world.

As the founder of Boulder Hair Collective, a sustainable luxury beauty salon, Trey continues to push boundaries and create transformative experiences for his clients. Evolving from his roots in Virginia, Trey has established himself as a runway hair expert and style aficionado, setting new standards of excellence in the industry. Now, splitting his time between Colorado and Mexico, Trey is expanding his empire to Puerto Vallarta, where he is opening a modern Mexican luxury hair salon. This three-floor space will house five chairs and a team of talented experts, offering a unique blend of luxury and expertise.

A philanthropist at the core, Trey spends a lot of his free time giving back to his local communities. His efforts have been focused primarily around women advocacy, and underrepresented youth through organizations like I have a Dream Foundation, Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center, The Other side, and Tgthr Boulder. Today his philanthropic heart inspired him to open his own non-profit driven by advocacy and resources for other cosmetology professionals, through scholarship, technology, tools, mentorship and career mapping and placement. His non-profit is called Crowning Futures.
